The association Munskänkarna aims primarily at increasing knowledge of wine and other precious beverages, as well as promoting good and moderate drinking habits. To achieve these goals, Munskänkarna organizes winetastings, wine courses, and publishes the monthly newspaper In Vino with six issues per year.
The education program comprises a large number of courses, ranging from introductory courses where you learn how to try wine, to our highly advanced three-degree education. The goal of the association is to create an understanding of the value of consuming alcohol in such a way that neither your own body nor anyone else is affected. The association also selects the winedistrict of the year, the wineprofile of the year, the wine of the year,and the winerestaurant of the year.
The main activities take place in the local sections of Sweden, but also in other countries. It is in these our members participate in tastings, courses and other arrangements. As a member of Munskänkarna you will also receive exclusive information on new wines, good purchases, wine world reports and much more through the membership magazine, the association's website and newsletter.
